Unlike large platforms or kennels, we don’t outsource your dog’s care — your dog will be looked after by us directly in a calm, safe, and loving home environment.

2. Our Services

We offer:

  • Overnight pet stays and doggy holiday care

All dogs stay in our home, where we keep a small number of guests at a time. This ensures personalised attention, enrichment, and a stress-free experience tailored to your dog’s needs.

Bookings are subject to availability and approval. We reserve the right to decline any booking if it’s not a suitable fit for our home or resident dogs.

3. Responsibilities of Dog Owners

To keep everyone safe and happy, you agree that:

  • You are 18 or older and the legal owner or guardian of the dog.

  • Your dog is fully vaccinated and regularly treated for fleas and worms.

  • Any medical, behavioural, or special needs are fully disclosed at booking.

  • Your dog is generally sociable and house-trained unless otherwise discussed.

  • Emergency contact details are provided and kept up to date.

  • Dogs with aggressive behaviour, extreme anxiety, or in heat will not be accepted.

  • Your dog if over 8 months is desexed unless discussed with us.

Failure to disclose important information may result in cancellation or refusal of service.

4. Booking, Cancellations, and Refunds

Booking confirmation requires full payment of the quoted amount.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we provide loving, experienced care, Pet Stays Melbourne is not liable for:

  • Illness, injury, or loss during your dog’s stay.

  • Damage or injury caused by your dog.

  • Issues arising from undisclosed behavioural or medical conditions.

We strongly recommend you have active pet insurance to cover unexpected vet bills during short or long-term dog boarding.

6. Health & Safety

  • Dogs must be fully vaccinated and flea/worm treated.

  • Please disclose all health or behavioural concerns.

  • We cannot accept female dogs in heat or aggressive dogs.

7. Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Please adhere to your agreed drop-off and pick-up times. If you expect delays, notify us as soon as possible. Late pick-ups may incur additional fees.
