Let’s meet for Trial!!

🐾 Trial Sessions Before Daycare or Boarding
Booking your dog into daycare or boarding is a big decision — for you, your pet, and us as dedicated pet carers. That’s why we strongly recommend a Meet & Greet Trial before any extended stay.

These 2–3 hour sessions allow us to assess your dog’s temperament, comfort, and social skills within the Pet Stays environment — and give your pup a gentle, stress-free introduction to our home-style setting.

Because we operate from home, we have no “Plan B” for behavioural issues. We expect all dogs to be well-socialised and display no signs of aggression or anxiety related aggression in group settings.

This isn’t just about safety — it’s about creating a space where every dog is treated like family, not just a booking.

✔ Any known allergies – Please let us know in advance if your dog has any food or environmental allergies so we can keep them safe and comfortable.
✔ A secure lead – For safe drop-off, pick-up, and any outdoor access, we ask that all dogs arrive on a lead.

At Pet Stays, the most valuable aspect of boarding is canine socialisation — a world of stimulation, interaction, and enrichment that dogs naturally thrive on. Nothing beats the joy of structured play and companionship among their own kind.

Our day is thoughtfully designed and filled with play and stimulation sessions, ensuring both physical and mental enrichment. Dogs enjoy 2 to 3 hours of supervised group play, balanced with rest periods to help regulate energy and avoid overstimulation.

We cater to each dog’s individual temperament. For dogs with higher energy levels, we often incorporate walks into their routine to help them release excess energy in a positive and constructive way.

Breakfast is served between 6am and 8am, and dinner is offered between 5pm and 6pm, following a consistent routine that supports comfort and predictability.

We carefully manage small and large dogs separately, with a few curated mixed play sessions to encourage healthy social behaviours in a controlled environment.

At the heart of Pet Stays is our commitment to providing a home-style, kennel-free environment. We observe and understand each dog’s personality, patterns, and behaviours, and regularly share these insights with our pet parents.

Because to us, this is more than just pet care — it’s a family affair.

While daily walks offer great physical exercise and one-on-one bonding, they’re not always the ideal solution for every dog. For some, walks can be overstimulating or less effective in burning energy — especially for social, high-drive breeds.

At Pet Stays, we believe in the power of enriched play and structured socialisation within a safe, supervised environment. Dogs enjoy mental stimulation through playgroups, rest periods, obstacle games, puzzles, and human interaction — all tailored to their individual needs.

Research shows just 30 minutes of mentally stimulating play can tire out a dog more than a 1-hour walk — and we see that daily in our care.

Every dog is different, and our home-style setting ensures they get the right mix of freedom, structure, and companionship — without the need for a lead.

Because for many dogs, playing with mates beats walking the block.
